Monti Bianchi Chianina Stud
Monti Bianchi, “White Mountains” is a father and son Chianina Stud, which was born and continues to be realised out of dreams and conversations around a fire, a love of premium meat and a passion for high-quality animals. Based in the Western Cape’s Small Karoo of South Africa, Gert and Garren have sourced a compliment of Chianina cattle from various bloodlines that are aimed at breeding superior animals within this incredible breed of cattle.
At Monti Bianchi we strive towards breeding a type of animal that still has its dignity intact, which ensures the dignity of our stud is maintained. This means that our animals walk freely and feed off the field, with some feed being offered to ensure that our animals get all the natural nutrients they require. We believe that walking the fields of the Small Karoo during the cold winters and the harsh summers, we have not only tested the hardiness of the Chianina breed but as result added to their growth, fitness and strength as they flourish in the Small Karoo’s, often considered, testing conditions.
Breeding Bulls
The Stud consists of two primary breeding bulls; Ridolfi and Jan van Riebeek.
